The Sweet Potato Show is an environmental design installation that encourages and enables social interaction. The visually rich, informal walls and furniture focus on the visitor. The installation provides a comfortable environment based on rural Tennessee culture. The Sweet Potato show includes collaborative, community participation, food and music. Tennessee Southern food, Caribbean and Chinese food celebrate our community. All this and even a kids lemonade stand out front brought people through art, food, music and respect.
Informal, visually rich objects based on rural form are the environment for community food, music and talk.
Moving into a new space is a daunting proposition. This Pop-up exhibit enables the vision of this new adventure to be textually and visually expressed. Contemporary energy, visually exciting and a narrative driven exhibitions are visually present during executive and funder Covid-19 tour & presentations. The museum’s vision is to visually express the mesmerizing collection by being contemporary, unexpected, and brightly optimistic.

Bright, optimistic and scientific, the Kingman plan calls for contemporary fonts, image making, and color relationships to bring to life the 20,000 + collection objects. Narrative twists and turns keep viewer interest while providing entertaining learning opportunities.
Illustration, typography and production layout of seminal book by the German author Hermann Hesse. This book along with Steppenwolf (27) and Narcissus and Goldmund (30) formed the basis of his opus that resulted in Hesse’s Nobel Prize for Literature 1946.
The book combines sumi paintings and collage elements. Pressed leaves, sandwiched between two sheets of waxed paper reminds the reader of childhood while referencing Siddartha’s journey to enlightenment. This then can serve as an analogy to the way in which each of us gathers our experiences, remembers them and organizes them to form a life lived.

Dutch children’s newspaper developed from inception to a full-color periodical distributed in editions of 30,000 units. Fun articles, games and puzzles incorporated topics based on national museum temporary and permanent exhibitions and programs.

The Nashville Zoo has the most visitors in the state of Tennessee, nearly 1,000,000 people per year. Programs developed incorporated collections and shows to enrich visitor’s experience. Balancing marketing and education goals, media created included special event shows, and field guides, exampled here.
Zoo’s inspire wonder and develop appreciate of the diverse and rich fauna of the world. Stemming from the philosophy that we learn most when we enjoy, program materials visually reflect the wonder and the rich diversity of animal life through design and illustration.
Childbirth coaching is an essential function in the United States. Brand strategy connects with nature and the wisdom of midwifery back through the beginning of our time. Through the tree of life, the identity is enveloping, welcoming and references the natural wonder in the spectrum of pregnancy.
The identity incorporates media across the spectrum, from old-world pregnancy journals, to websites, and even a planned doula app. Wisdom of ancient culture, epitomized by the tree of life and cyclical nature of existence. Softer colors and playful illustrations remain open to children and expectant parents while maintaining the seriousness of this most significant of all events.
